Amino modified silicone oil is a reactive aminoethyl-aminopropylfunctional polydimethylsiloxane with a reduced level of cyclic siloxanes, it’s equal to WACKER® FINISH WR 1300 LV & WACKER® FINISH WR 1100 LV
2. Properties
• It is particularly suitable as active substance in softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles.
• It imparts a very soft, drapable, and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics.
• It is considered to be the best softening agent for cotton fabrics and knitware made of cotton or cotton/PES blends.
• It improves the wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss. The effects are fast to washing and dry cleaning.
• It has only little effect on the degree of whiteness in a softener formulation. As a rule no adverse effect on the shade or color fastness properties of coloured goods is observed.

4. Application:
• It can be applied neat, from solution, or emulsion. Suitable solvents are aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, higher alcohols, and ketones.
• It is mainly applied from emulsion.
• It is suitable for the formulation of microemulsions and macroemulsions.
• It can be used as sole active substance in softener emulsions or in combination with other components, e.g. paraffines, esters of fatty acids, etc. Compatibility of the components has to be checked in each individual case.
• Its emulsions are diluted to the optimum concentration for the specific fabric. Application can be done by padding or exhaustion
