Antioxidant 168 is an antioxidant synthesized by catalysis from 2.4-di-tert-butylphenol and phosphorus trichloride as raw materials. It is generally not used alone and is usually used in conjunction with phenolic main antioxidants such as antioxidant 1010 and 1076 in polymer materials such as PE, PP, PS, ABS resin, polyurethane, polycarbonate, polyamide, and various rubbers to improve the thermal stability during polymer processing.
